Dust Coating for Calamari

Product is designed for Calamari, however; it can be used on all seafood, chicken, meat, & vegetables. Can be used by its self dry, can be mixed with water or beer for a batter/beer batter, or can be mixed with water as a batter before adding bread crumbs. Calamari cooks at 350° to 375° for just over a minute. When using plain flour Calamari will not become golden brown unless left in the fryer for over two minutes. At this point the Calamari is over cooked and very chewy. This product has certain ingredients that are designed to help the Calamari retain its moisture and get a golden brown color in the required minute of cooking time.

Ingredients

Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour), Yellow Corn Flour, Corn Starch, Sugar, Non-Fat Dry Milk, Leavening, (Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate), Salt, Guar Gum, Egg Whites Dried, Soybean Oil, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Colors including: FD&C Yellow #5 And FD&C Yellow #6.

Dust Coating Directions: Completely Moisten Calamari in Water, Coat Calamari Thoroughly with Roma Dust Coating and Fry Calamari for One Minute at 375°

Batter Coating Directions: Completely Moisten Calamari in Wash (2 Cups Roma Dust Coating and 1 Gallon Water) Fry Calamari for One Minute at 375°

Bread Crumb Directions: Completely Moisten Calamari in Wash (2 Cups Roma Dust Coating and 1 Gallon Water) Coat Thoroughly with Bread Crumb. Fry Calamari for One Minute at 375°
